Road Closures & Updates: M25 Junction10/A3/Wisley w/c Monday 18 November

National Highways have advised: 

We are writing to let you know about our planned closures for week commencing 18 November.

Please consider these closures when planning your journey.

Our overnight closures usually start from 10pm and finish by 5.30am Monday to Thursday and from 11pm Friday to finish by 6am on Saturday. These times can vary depending on the volume of traffic and when we can close the road safely.

Monday 18 November - A3 Northbound Closure

Overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Monday 18 November the A3 northbound carriageway will be closed at M25 junction 10. Traffic will be diverted onto the gyratory via the roundabout then back onto the A3 northbound.

Monday 18 November & Friday 22 November - M25 Junction 10 Clockwise Lane Closures

Overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Monday 18 November and Friday 22 November there will be lane closures between Cobham Services and junction 10 for works to the new bridges.

Tuesday 19 November & Saturday 23 November - M25 Junction 10 Gyratory

Overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Tuesday 19 November and then Saturday 23 November the western gyratory at junction10 will be closed for utility works. Traffic will be diverted to junction 11 and return.

Tuesday 19 November & Saturday 23 November - A3 Northbound J10 Exit Slip Road Closure

Overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on Tuesday 19 November and then Saturday 23 November the A3 Northbound exit slip to junction 10 will be closed. Traffic will be diverted via the Painshill roundabout then back on the A3 southbound.

Wednesday 20 November – Wisley Lane

Overnight between 10pm and 5.30am on 20 November, we will be closing Wisley lane from Ockham roundabout to RHS Wisley. Traffic will be diverted via Ockham Roundabout, B2215 Portsmouth Road, B367 Newark Lane, Warren Lane, Pyrford Road, Lock Lane to Wisley Lane in both directions.

The temporary traffic signals at the junction of the old and the new Wisley Lane are planned for removal on Thursday 21 November at 10pm. Following their removal, the new tie in will be open and will become the permanent through route for Wisley Lane traffic to Wisley village and the gardens at RHS Wisley.

The temporary access to RHS Wisley will also be removed at this time and drivers should follow the signs to the new entrance.

Wisley Lane Access for A3 Southbound Traffic

For road users travelling Southbound on the A3, access to Wisley will be via the new Wisley Lane. This is the first exit at Ockham Roundabout when approaching from the A3 southbound off slip road, before the Ockham Lane North (B2039) exit. This will take you onto and across the new Wisley Bridge.

Wisley Lane Access for A3 Northbound Traffic

Drivers travelling northbound on the A3, access to Wisley will be via the M25 junction 10 gyratory to turnaround and travel southbound, following the instructions as above.

Friday 22 November - A245 Overnight Closure

Overnight from 10pm to 5.30am on Friday 22 November, the A245 will have lane closures in place on Painshill roundabout for utility works.
